Asal Insan - اصل انسان

My work is deeply rooted in the belief that photography is not just about seeing, but about feeling. Each image I create is a reflection of a personal journey and diverse landscape—both physical and emotional. An intersection between my own and my subjects'. I experimented with a blend of traditional and contemporary techniques, using analogue photography and sound, to evoke a sense of an all-encompassing atmosphere. I prefer to work in natural light, allowing the colours and textures to come alive in their truest forms. Using 6x9 medium format slide film allows me to show the truest and most honest form of my subjects, and allows them to display their unique journeys and take on their identity. I invite my viewers to pause and reflect on their own journeys and connections to the world around them and to those they walk with.
