The lotus carries a sentiment uniquely cherished by the Chinese people, symbolizing purity and tranquil grace. This photographic series focuses on the water lilies resting in the pond, capturing the unfolding of their blooms and leaves under varying light and shadow. In vibrant hues, the water lilies lie serenely on the water's surface, their petals and foliage mirrored in perfect reflection. Through the lens, every subtle detail of nature is recorded, using the water lily as a window to express the refined and elegant character esteemed in Chinese culture. With truthful, unembellished imagery, the quiet beauty of the lotus is brought to life.
