Inspired by the phenomenon of mirror reflections found in nature, this architectural series was both photographed and post-produced to encompass a variety of geometric structures. The compositions employ front lighting, backlighting, and side lighting to bring out the horizontal, vertical, curved, and circular elements of the buildings, as well as their three-dimensionality and spatial depth. Gradient skies and mirrored compositional layouts are used to convey the architectural essence and underlying mood. Under the visual impact of stark, minimalist black-and-white imagery, the buildings are transformed into something wonderfully intricate, refined, and futuristic.
