Sacred Fire Ritual

A 1,200 years old Shinto ritual at Toba Shinmei Shrine, Japan. Devout men called 'Neko' plunge into a raging torch 'Suzumi.' They extract 12 sacred ropes representing the months from flames to divine the harvest.
