The picturesque trail linking the fishing villages of Arnarstapi and Hellnar traverses both seaside and lava fields, leading to the well-known Gatklettur arch. However, it's the less photographed trio of rocky islands that captured my focus. I intentionally overexposed the image to evoke a sense of emptiness, emphasizing the vibrant green and yellow hues that adorn these rugged islets. This artistic choice enhances the serene yet wild character of the landscape, offering a distinct view of nature's quiet beauty in an otherwise untamed setting.
