I'm working on a range of picture where I portray animals in the same way as I would portray people. For this range, I look for the not so ordinary animals. This one is a sphynx cat, looking angry but in fact it's a very friendly animal. The way he looks straight into the lens makes the image more intense. I use studio-light and a lot of patience to make these images. For the lighting I switch between a small softbox and a spot, depending on the model. For this one, a spot was used because I wanted the light to have more contrast to emphasize the wrinkles.
