Photographer's Profile
Casper, Taiwan
I am Chen-Che Wang, founder of the photography brand CunZhe Photography. For over a decade, I have used my lens to document Taiwan’s vibrant religious traditions—transforming temple festivals from scenes of firecrackers and gongs into a powerful visual language that resonates on the international stage. To date, I have received 58 first-place awards and nearly 100 accolades across major global photography competitions, including those in London, New York, and Germany. In 2024, I earned third place in the portrait category of the National Geographic Taiwan Photo Contest, becoming one of the few contemporary photographers to spotlight Taiwanese religious culture internationally. My works have been featured in Dynasty (China Airlines in-flight magazine), The Island’s Gods TV program, and SET News. One of my photographs was also collected by Taiwan’s President Tsai Ing-wen. I’ve collaborated with major brands such as Canon Taiwan, Adobe Lightroom, and Taiwan Excellence, and have held exhibitions in Taiwan, the United States, France, and Thailand—sharing Taiwan’s spiritual heritage with the world.
