Theyyam is a religious/spiritual festival in the remote town of Kannur in Kerala,India. This ritual happens between November and March every year and has been in vogue for more than 10,000 years. Legend has it that the practise has been going on since the Neolithic era. I happened to go there and spend a few days to capture the essence of the ritual.
