Mazu is the most revered goddess in Taiwanese Taoism. Every year, her followers organize a procession to accompany her on a tour. In the photo, the ancient ritual procession contrasts sharply with the modern cityscape, symbolizing that even as times change, traditional culture will continue to be passed down.
